Eligibility
- Candidates who have born on or after 01.07.1989 and completed their 10+2 level education in science discipline with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology (PCM/ PCB) as compulsory subjects and also have scored 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent are eligible to apply for the exam.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category and those who belong to the states of Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to appear for the exam with 50% marks or equivalent.
How to Apply?
- Interested candidates may collect the application form along with prospectus, information brochure, and a printed self addressed printed envelope from designated post offices of the state on cash payment of Rs.750/-.
- Prescribed application form can also be obtained by sending a demand draft of Rs.750/- drawn in favor ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore. In that case candidates have to send a request letter containing the address and phone number of the candidate to Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore-632 014.
- Application forms may also be obtained by handing over a DD of Rs. 750/- in person at VIT University from the following addresses:

Interested candidates may also opt for online application through www.vit.ac.in/viteee-2011 .And after successfully applying online they have to send the filled in application form along with a DD of Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore (for Indian candidates) / DD of 50 USD (for NRI candidates).
